What is Wellness?

    Wellness is a holistic health care for both body and mind, focusing on prevention before disease occurs, and adjusting lifestyle with modern medical technology to take care of health at the same time. Wellness is not only about good health, but also about many other dimensions such as physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, environmental, and can also reduce the occurrence of chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

 

Wellness healthcare is different from traditional hospital treatments or health care. How?
  • Wellness healthcare focuses on prevention rather than cure, unlike traditional medicine that focuses on treating diseases. It focuses on protecting the body to be healthy.
  • Wellness health care is the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle or a healthy and happy daily life in a sustainable manner. It's not just a treatment to feel better. 
  • Wellness is a continuous holistic health care, not only occasional treatment to recover from illnesses and diseases, but also integrates health care into daily life so that everyone can have sustainable good health.

 

Who is Wellness suitable for, or what group of people is it particularly suitable for?
