Preimplantation Genetic Testing

Preimplantation Genetic Screening: PGS is a genetic analysis technology to see the integrity and screen for preimplantation genetic testing before embedding embryo back into the uterus. It helps increase the chance of successful pregnancy and reduce the chances baby will carry genetic diseases. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) is a technology for detecting excess or missing chromosomes which helps reduce embryo not implant problem, first three months miscarriage, or pregnancy with abnormal chromosomes resulting in impaired baby. NGS can detect chromosome abnormalities of all 23 chromosome pairs at once with high accuracy and lowest false positive rate compared to other techniques. Test results can be read within 7-10 days.
