Dr. Poomsuwan receives a medical degree with First Class Honor the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. She then went on to pursue her interest in dermatology and received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Dermatology at Chulalongkorn University.

In Miami, Florida, she received fellowships in both General Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Poomsuwan is also certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM) in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
