Basically, individuals come from a variety of backgrounds, including age, gender, religion, race, education level, sexual orientation, values, beliefs, etc. Sometimes they face various challenges that can negatively impact their mental health. Discrimination, abuse, and actions underlying prejudice are stressors. It leads to anxiety. Depression and other mental health problems can lead to an impact on work performance.
Therefore, embracing and understanding the context of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) will help create a new corporate culture that is a space for everyone.
How to integrate mental health with inclusion

1. Promoting a culture that supports mental health
Cultural competence is behaviors, attitudes, and practices that can be adapted in the context of a diverse society, such as providing counseling services that understand the root cause of mental problems to lead to more targeted solutions.
2. Training and Knowledge
Increase diversity, equality, and inclusion in the organization in a creative way. Participate in mental health care training activities to create awareness within the organization.
3. Individual Inclusion Policy
Organizations should develop and support policies related to mental health and DEI inclusion, such as anti-discrimination policies. Opening of shared experience spaces, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), etc.
4. Executive Commitment
It is undeniable that leaders, executives, It plays an important role in driving and supporting a good experience. Recognizing the importance of mental health in relation to a work environment where everyone accepts equality and differences.
5. Hearing Opinions and Protection of Complainants
Provide a space for them to complain and protect them throughout the grievance process, including remedies for rights violations and potential psychological impacts.
